• Repertoire. Full song list with original artist’s names and a set list
• Audio CD demo with 3 songs. 1 ballad and 2 up-tempo
• 3 minute DVD video
Our clients are used to viewing high quality promo so please make sure your submission is professional. Here are some guidelines to assist in preparing your package.
PICS
At least two different color glossy photos either 8X10 or 5X7. You may also include a B&W but at this stage we prefer color. E-mail 300-600 dpi high resolution pics, minimum file size 1200-1600.
It is best not to have your name written across the image. If you have your name on it please put it at the bottom. Please send a photo that accurately represents your look now, not 10 years ago.
BIO
A short history and description of you and what you do in a narrative form.
RESUME
Work history and referances.
VIDEO
Your video should be in a DVD format and semi professional. No “home movies.” You don’t need a lot of text and transitions, just good video that shows you and what you do. The audio and video quality should be clear. Good lighting is very important.
This is probably the most important promo in the packet so it is worth investing some money in a good video shoot. Your video will be judged against others that are submitted. If the client is considering several acts of equal talent, sometimes the job goes to the one with the best promo. It speaks for who you are and how professional your relationship with the client and the audience will be.
We recommend no more than 3 minutes. Clients don’t have a lot of time to view videos. Less is sometimes more. The video should show you close-up and full stage. Live shots of the audience enjoying your performance are good too. Preferred e-mail format .wmv, medium size VHS.
REPERTOIRE
Send your song list including original artists.
If you have a show you are used to performing, full length (75-90 minutes) or as part of a tribute show (15 minutes), please include a set list.
